Application for Admission into SLAM

This is an application to be considered for the San Leandro Academy for Multimedia as a 10th grader in the class of 2024.

This is a three-year program, so only complete this application if you are serious about wanting to be in it.

It is strongly recommended that before you submit, you save all of your responses in a separate text document just in case there is a technical problem. Any problems that you have will not be an excuse for an incomplete or unsubmitted application after the deadline.

This application should take you at least 30 minutes to complete, so please plan accordingly; you will not be able to save your progress and complete the application at a later time.

Take your time and do your best. Incorrect grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization always make you look like a less appealing applicant.

At the end of this application you will need to upload samples of your own creative work or provide links to that work; examples might include photographs, videos, writing, or photos of artwork created by hand (drawings, paintings, etc.)

After you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your responses. If you don't receive the confirmation email, check your junk mailbox. If you cannot find a confirmation email, a list of current applicants will be updated on the main application site (https://mrsfarley.wixsite.com/slamapp) every week. Please note that if you use your SLUSD email address on this application, you will not receive a confirmation because SLUSD email addresses block all email outside the network.

Incomplete or late applications will be rejected. Suitable applicants will be called in for an interview.
